dramatition
a tv compet-tion in which there is a heavy emphasis on drama. reality shows like top chef, american idol, and flavor of love are dyed in the wool dramat-tions. a dramat-tion may also occur unintentionally, as a cinderella type story or when a compet-tor suffers a compelling emotional setback or an extremely unlikely sports comeback.
