driving florida style
the act of driving without head or taillights at nighttime regardless of what state or province one is in. the term originates from south florida where tourists enjoy driving around at night without headlights or taillights; and also in the atlanta metro area, where lots of rental cars have florida plates.
driver: look at that corolla with the fl plates!
p-ssenger: whoa, they don’t have their lights on!
driver: they are totally driving florida style down the 405!
