commonly used amongst males. when you’re about to go for a swim and need to ‘prep the package’ in the event of the water temperature being less then desirable, you ‘dry start’ by p-ssing your togs/board shorts/speedos prior to immersion into the water.
adjective: a running dry start – this can often invoke a dry start when one runs into the water at pace and the coolness of the water causes an instinctual reaction to ones genitalia
