Dummy Burger
a derogatory term coined by naysayers of norwegian symphonic metal band dimmu borgir. the phrase is a mockery of the band’s name meant to depict their music in a non-threatening light. used by those who hold disdain for the band’s commercial shift away from traditional black metal, as well as those who have an exceptionally strong disliking of the band’s music.
metalhead 1: “dimmu borgir is the greatest black metal band ever, d00de!!!!1!1!”
metalhead 2: “you mean dummy burger? f-ck them, go listen to nokturnal mortum.”
