sp-wned from the term ‘dun,’ which is mobb deep-speak for ‘son’ (roughly translating to ‘homeboy’ or ‘partner’), this variation in usage is an ironic jab at the aforementionned variety of urban ‘hip-hop slang,’ however it ultimately serves the same purpose. a colloquiualism of providence, ri named after a somewhat unremarkable vietnamese student at cl-ssical high school (circa 1999).
