when ones sleeping quarters reside in a small sp-ce between the mattress and ceiling (namely in a situation requiring one to crawl on hands and knees to reach pillow), and in an attempt to avoid creating a dutch oven, one rips -ss outside of the sheets but effectively “dutches” their loft.
