El Stinko de Mayo
a term used by those who celebrate el cinco de mayo while in the country of mexico during the time at which the holiday is celebrated. mexico and its people stink all day every day. holidays are no exception. throwing alcohol and celebration into the mix will only make the stink get stinkier. the longer you stay the more likely you are to catch the dreaded perma-stink. prevention is the only cure available at this time. the term el stinko de mayo can and should be used for any celebration or visit to mexico during the month of may. also accepted all year round for obvious reasons. name change not necessary when celebrated in the united states.
jose: “eh guey, why you no come to marisol’s fiesta the other night?” “you no celebrate el cinco de mayo or what?” “and why is that smell?”
luis : “si, si i celebrate!” “el stinko de mayo with mi familia in mexico.”
jose: “ey guey.. you no more mi amigo!” “you dirty stinky piasa!” “smelling of greasy beans sh-t on a rotten tortilla!”
luis : “yo se guey.. i stay too much time with stinky mexicans in mexico for stinko de mayo and got perma-stink!” “no bueno.”
