the emerald triangle is a region located in northern california that is north of the san francisco bay area. it includes the counties of mendocino, humboldt, and trinity. its name came from its shape being triangle like and because its the largest cannabis producing region in the entire world, and weed is green and the fanciest green is emerald so there you have it, the emerald triangle.
