emotionally troubled
someone that gives off vibes that they have no self esteem or self confidence and usually were abused and neglected during their childhood. then as adults they have a difficult time in their day to day life. their spirit is usually broken and subservient. someone that is emotionally troubled can easily be taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals.
i think jane is emotionally troubled, she reminds me of a puppy that has been kicked too many times and is lost in a crowd of people.
