1) often used on oneself by accident when they think they know more than someone else, when clearly they do not. in many cases the individual is seeking to belittle the other, when it backfires by muttering the word “expret” rather than “expert.”

2)can be used to make fun of someone for their obvious ignorance, inability to spell, or obvious disabilities.
