f-g-rock utilises already established music genre’s , ie: “mall pop”, repet-tive 4/4 patterns, truncated loops, arpeggiations, etc.
examples of f-g rock can be found in music that depicts men with “big hair”, that uses scantily clad women, dancing in videos, to sell the music due to the fact that the music would not be able to sell itself.
examples of f-g-rock can be found in music from artists such as bronski beat, erasure, whitesnake, winger, etc.
bands who sell out and make cheesy rock music dating from the 80’s to now. these bands consist of guys usually wearing womens make up and writing lyrics about being lonely and bad relationships.
