fashionistette
not quite as shallow as a fashionista, but someone who deeply enjoys fashion and looking good. a fashionistette can be intelligent, worldly, and cosmopolitan, knowledgable about the world and considerate of people around her. compare to metros-xual (and note that, in women, no one suspects looking well-groomed and fashionable has anything to do with their s-xual choices). fashionistettes and metros-xuals have the flavor of retro and cl-ssic vegas — they are “just swell.”
everyone loves having betsy at parties. she’s a fashionistette, she can talk about anything, she brings bubbly and she shows up with these incredible examples of metros-xual hunkiness. having kat over isn’t as fun; she’s a fashionista, a b-tch, and nothing else.
