when the politics of a (semi-)organized group become so inbred that the selection of new “officers” consist entirely of people already within the leadership’s cabal of like-(and often narrow) minded sycophants to the point beyond the standard nepotism to where it seems as though it must be a s-xual fetish.
can you believe that alan and cindy picked rick to be the head of security? he’s such a member of their clique that this is definitely a case of fetishistic nepotism.
