the phrase – ph’nglui mglw’nafh cthulhu r’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn – translates to, “in his house at r’lyeh, dead cthulhu waits dreaming.”
it is often shortened to, “cthulhu fhtagn,” which loosely translates to, “cthulhu waits,” or “cthulhu dreams.”
