Fighting the Flood
an alternate way of saying “to shotgun a beer”.
this is a reference to the halo games, where the only legitimate strategy of defeating the race known as “the flood” is via excessive use of the human shotgun.
“it’s wednesday, 11:00 am, just got out of my calculus test. i think we need to celebrate by fighting the flood.”
