an initialism along the lines of fml. whereas fml describes the fact that sometimes sh-t happens, fmft implies a more active endeavor to achieve an intended goal or result. then, sh-t happens anyway.
when that lady dropped her wallet i tried to return it to her, but she kneed me in the groin and called me a thief. fmft.
