followers obligation
a situation in which, through no fault of the follow (typically male), one has found themselves walking behind another (typically female), with the follwed oblivious to the follower.
this commonly occurs on city streets, college campuses/ towns, or parking lots. in the situation of the follower, it becomes necessary to make oneself known before discovered.
following without the followed knowing becomes exponentially risky/awkward/sketchy as hours grow late, especially when discovered.

3 start a fake cell phone convo to alert presence
4 cough if necessary
5 keep eyes moving/ as to not be caught staring in the case of a quick turnaround
6 act slightly drunk or impaired
7 scuffle feet acouple times
