fear of not being invited – similar to fomo, but it is the fear of not being invited to an event or a gathering. many people won’t mind as much missing out, as long as they were invited in the first place.
when i couldn’t make it to the best birthday party of the year due to a prior engagement, i didn’t get fonbi and didn’t mind missing out on all the fun because at least i was invited to the party .
