this completely bogus rule where if someone asks you for some form of food and then you ask them for the same thing you’re required to obtain this food for them.
the epitome of a cr-prule.
“get me a seven layer crunchwrap!”
“how about you get me a seven layer crunchwrap!”
“foodsies, you owe me”
“f-ck you and ‘foodsies’ you’re a complete idiot”
a sneaky rule of food reciprocation. foodsies occurs when a person states that someone owes them a food/beverage item, and that someone responds with “no, you owe me ____(food/beverage item).” the first person may now call foodsies and the second person does indeed owe them whatever food or beverage item, even if initally, they were just making the food debt up.
person 1: hey, you owe me a bag of cheetoes puffs
person 2: no, you owe me a bag of cheetoes puffs
person 1: foodsies, now you really do owe me a bag of puffs.
