in essence footy smarts is a term delivered upon an individual with great intellectual knowledge in the sports category of australian rules football.
when i asked craig questions about the footy on the weekend he got everything correct, he has great footy smarts! when i asked sam the same questions he got nothing right…he doesn’t have any footy smarts.
