used to describe australians who are newly arrived to a foreign country. comes from qantas being the national airline of australia. foqers are both newly arrived and obviously out of place due to inappropriate seasonal clothing, bogan mannerisms and a strong attachments to other australians.
look at those foqers still wearing their flip flops in the middle of winter and trying to order a schooner at the bar.
