frankendocument
an aggregate doc-ment that is composed of other doc-ments that shouldn’t be included as a single doc-ment. this is usually done to satisfy internal politics, and reflects the inefficiency of egos and idiots in businesses and government organizations.
person 1:
“i don’t understand the relationship between pages 1-5 and 6-8; why didn’t you create separate doc-ments?”
person 2:
“well, john felt like he needed to comment on something, so he is insisting i combine them into this frankendoc-ment.”
person 1:
“but that doesn’t make any sense – they are two completely separate subjects.”
person 2:
“i know, but john’s an idiot, and the director doesn’t seem to realize that, so this is what i was told to do.”
