frogart
a friend bogart: someone who does whatever they can to keep their friends to themselves, without letting them befriend each other. frogarts are usually social b-tterflies but deeply insecure souls who deeply fear that their friends will discover each other and like each other better. this often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy as friends eventually meet, share their experiences and reject their original friendships with the frogart.
amos and i had a great conversation when we met and had asked francis for each others’ numbers for over a year with no luck. we finally ran into each other and discovered that francis had been frogarting us.
