frusemide
frusemide is a loop diuretic drug. the drug inhibits chloride reabsorption in the ascending limb of the loop of henle and inhibit tubular sodium transport, causing major loss of sodium and chloride.
the patient was administered frusemide at 0800 by the nurse to remove water from the body.
