when something is of little value or requires a small amount of money to buy.
coined from boys’ conversations at work and in the pub, this word is only used for extreme circ-mstances of cheapness or worth.
example 1
bloke 1 – how much did that set you back?
bloke 2 – oh, it was f-ckpence.
example 2
bloke 1 – i’m so upset, i broke up with my girlfriend last night.
bloke 2 – man up, mate! she wasn’t worth f-ckpence!
