fuckupgrade
a system “upgrade” that doesn’t work as well as what it replaces due to excessive defects. for software, this may include bugs and/or a more difficult interface. however, the term can be extended to any other system (roofing, remodeling, restoration, plastic surgery, tax reform, etc.) that suffers from greed, incompetence, inadequate resources, or a specific lack of foresight.
remember “vista”? what a f-ckupgrade that was!
well, they’ve f-ckupgraded our email system, and now everyone’s complaining about it.
just between you and me, that facelift of hers is nothing but a f-ckupgrade.
