Galoni

derived from the italian word for gallons. it was later used in the us, during the early 1900’s, as a slang for “gallons of puke.” when italian immigrants would only have wine to keep them warm during the winter months, they would consume large amounts (gallons) of wine to deter the cold. which unfortunately caused large amounts of vomiting.

now the term is used for when someone vomits uncontrollably and usually involving projectile vomiting as well.
