generock
generock stems from the words “generic” and “rock”. this term can be used colloquially when refering to bands, mostly led by foo fighters after the grunge-era of nirvana, which try very hard to play the same sh-t everyone else is playing. examples can be finger eleven, nickleback, sum 41 or jet.
wow, i haven’t heard this song in such a long time. perfect generock. can’t beleive i liked this once.
rock bands that were once unique and dedicated to producing solid music, who’ve now sold out and produce generic cr-p after generic cr-p. (aka: blink 182, nickelback, sum 41 etc.)
