gig’em – an aggie hand sign that means beat the h-ll outta the other team. (this doesn’t have to make sence because aggies are insane)

a term the fightin’ texas aggies of texas a&m university–college station use to push each other on toward victory whether it be in 1.)athletics, 2.)academics or 3.)life. it has it’s origins in the old rivalry with the tcu horned frogs in which a gig was something used to kill a frog. it is typically -ssociated with the thumbs up symbol
1. as ryan tannehill lined up behind center to lead the aggies to their next touchdown, the 12th man was heard yelling, “gig ’em aggies.”
2. as john and mike put their pennies at sully’s feet, they wished each other the best in their finals with a “gig ’em!”
3. as ol’ rock got hired for his first job out of college, his new boss noticed his aggie ring, gave him the thumbs up and said, “gig ’em!”

started in 1930 by pinkie downs during practice before the tcu game. “what are we going to do to those horned frogs?” “gig’em”
