literally a waste of time. an extra bell for which you have to wake up an hour earlier than you should and you just learn about the world, however this in no way furthers your education in things you actually need to graduate.
jill: “hey, did you go to global seminar today? i didn’t see you.”
jack: “nah, i enjoy sleeping, and it’s a waste of time.”
