to go absolutely and uncontrollably crazy both mentally and physically, akin to a gorilla fight. the outbreak usually ends within minutes but results in m-ssive amounts of property damage. may also refer to:
1. the mating practices of gorillas during mating season, where compet-tion leads to fierce, testosterone-fueled fights over dominance of the region.
2. the establishment of territory by the use of excrement.
not to be confused with going ape sh-t, which refers more to the psychological attributes of the act rather than the physical intimidation.
my roommate is going gorillas flipping beds and intimidating guests.
