the act of post-hyping something so much, you are practically giving said thing a bl-w j-b. this can be used in a personal, public or describing something on television as “going slumdog millionaire” on something.
“dude, did you see slumdog millionaire? it was so good! and i should know, i live with my mother.”
“the academy awards was right on the money when it named slumdog millionaire as best picture.”
or the indirect:
“dude, you should watch the office, it is so brilliant, it should win more awards than it does.”
or to describe a situation of use:
“did you hear tommy in first period today? he was totally “going slumdog millionaire” on beth’s new earrings.”
