Gold Star Dyke
a type of s-x policing based on the idea that a lesbian- identified person is of a higher ranking if they’ve never had s-xual contact with a “man”. this reinforces the oppressive idea that a person must have been born with a biological p-n-s in order to be a man, and discriminates against ftm (female to male) transgendered people. it also reinforces the transphobic thought that a person who was born with a biological p-n-s cannot legitimately be considered a womyn (and discriminates against mtf- male to female- individuals.) s-x policing like this is dangerous to our communities because it supports destructive s-xist ideals, and encourages the creation of rules and regulations about s-xuality & gender rather than encouraging to challenge & break those rules.
