gong meter
the level of “gong” in occurence at a give time. related to the term gong show, which is used as a synonym for fubar, sh-t show, cl-sterf-ck, or any kind of out of control, chaotic situation.
person 1: “man, this is ridiculous. everyone’s running around like chickens with their heads cut off.”
person 2: “yeah, i’d say the gong meter is full.”
