googit


a unit of language pattern pervasiveness, defined as one hit in the search engine google. used in natural language translation, when looking for the more frequently-used way to say something.
i’d never heard “mechatronic” before, but i get 776,000 googits for it at opposed to only 52,400 for “electromechanic”, so i guess it’s the term to use.
telling someone to google something when you’re asked a question you don’t know the answer to, or don’t want to know the answer to.
hey paul! how many holes does it take to fill the albert hall?
