i waited fully five minutes for the laptop to start up and then i had google block, what a waste of time

when you open google to search for something but then completely forget what it was you were gonna search for.
person 1: “ok then let’s just open google and… hey wait a sec i have no f-cking clue what it was i was gonna search for.”
person 2: “oh dear mate, you have a serious case of googleblock.”
the term ”googleblock” first appeared in a daily telegraph article on the chinese government’s censorship of the google index. the original meaning can be found on wiktionary
the term has also recently been used by to describe a writers block while googling, particularly by irish students. in this context the term is best used to describe being unable to think of what keywords best describe what you are trying to find on google, and as a consequence finding no results.
“i can’t find x on google! i’m having googleblock!”
