older slang term used to describe chicago buses which is derived from there formerly green color. the term has been used less frequently because most chicago buses are now mostly blue and white.

(years ago, milwaukee buses used to be a “baby-p–p” green, so we always called them the green limousine, the current ones are predominately a darker green) generally, the actual color of the bus does not matter because all buses are “green”, ie; eco-stuff.
