Grossman Short Path Distillation
an apparatus used in the chemistry lab to distill small quat-ties of distillate. identical to a short path distillation with the addition of latex tubing (carrying cold water) wraped around the bend in the vacuum adapter to aid in condensation of the vapors. used in lieu of a simple distillation where distillate would be lost on the surface of the condenser. also used due to convenience and ease of set-up. can be called gspd or gsp distillation for short.
