the term “grumpleupagus” is a combined term, taking inspiration from sesame street character, snuffleupagus, and the word “grumpy”. grumpleupagus is a noun used to describe a rather cranky being. in modern mythology, some say the grumpleupaguses used their long trunk to shoo away persons they find annoying.
