gun loyalty (shooter games) – when playing a shooter game, for example call of duty, and your play is negatively effected by loyalty to a particular weapon. your desire to maintain use of this given weapon, even though a preferable alternative is available to you, will end up getting you killed and ruining your kill/death ratio.
