Gunstar Heroes
one of the best platform/shooting games ever released on the sega genesis by treasure(tm). even though it was made in 1993, the game is still a blast to play, literally.
the game was later surp-ssed by a kick-ss platform-shooter called alien soldier in 1995, which was also made by treasure(tm).
holy sh-t! gunstar heroes actually has tons of boss battles and 3d effects which really pushed the genesis to its hardware limits.
