word used most commonly on instant messaging programs to show a moment of intense laughter. first came around when the words ‘haha’-meaning to laugh – and ‘lmao’-meaning to laugh ones -rs- off were fused together. pr-nounced ‘hah-hah-lam-ee-ow.’ used most commonly in the north hertfordshire town of hitchin.
