hamburger fingers
a condition when starting to play guitar. repeatedly pressing your fingers aginst the strings of a guitar makes the tips of your fingers look like the surface of a grilled hamburger. after a while callouses devolop(akin to walkingg barefoot)and the condition goes away.
practice is the cause of and solution to hamburger fingers.
