a command indicating that negative people should go away, or if you don’t like something then gtfo.
first spoken by kenneth on the tv show 30 rock in march 2007, popularized on celebrity gossip websites such as ontd. derived from lyrics in beyonce’s 2006 song irreplaceable: “to the left, to the left / everything you own in a box to the left.”

thought to be derived from beyonce’s irreplacable ‘to the left to the left’ and used in 30 rock, but origionally used in the song ‘stuck in the middle with you’ in 1972, which was used in pulp fiction in 1992:
“haters to the left of me, jokers to the right, here i am, stuck in the middle with you”
