Heepke
a traditionally german name, which is very popular in hamburg. pr-nounced heap – ka, it means ‘large ditch’ in the original german dialect, used from it’s creation to 1408. the most famous heepke was named heepka sandross, a worker woman in the german worker’s rights movement in 1873, and posed an -ss-ssination attempt on wilhelm i in his yearly procession through munich.
