heol (헐)
a korean slang term used to show surprise or disappointment. mostly used by younger koreans to their late 20’s.
a: i rescused a dog today!
b: heol (헐)…
c: where are you?
d: at home, why?
c: heol (헐)… we were supposed to meet today.
please note that if used in english conversations, you may be seen as a koreaboo, i advice to use in conversations with korean speakers.
