Hibedernate
to sleep copiously; often during the winter time, or while incredibly ill. may be following the ingestion of excess amounts of food. usually involving a bed, though it isn’t required. not to be confused with hibenerdate.
“what did you do over winter break mark?”
“i was exhausted from exams, so i ate thirty tacos then hibedernated.”
