when one person comes up with a hip or politically correct sounding statement, and others who hear them start changing their thought process and then repeating the statement for the rest of their lives.

person 2 (hears the statement and then in an effort to seem more politically correct than others, does the same. when in actuality, person 2 would have loved celebrating it.)
