hom-a-skill-etta
a fancy way of acknowledging someone as your “homie”, or “home skillet”. tends to make one feel more elegant and sophisticated when pr-nounced slowly.
while eating a fine meal at tokyo one my pal leaned over and quietly said to me, “hom-a-skill-etta, could you please p-ss the soy sauce”. i reached over and handed him the sauce he requested.
