hook to the face
a term used to describe an embarr-ssing occurance in the popular wc3 game, dota. it happens when the hero pudge, manages to snag someone with his hook spell, thereby dragging them to imminent doom.
usually, this is enough to infuriate the most calm of players. in fact, if pudge misses a hook, many players will insult pudge for the rest of the game due to the fact that pudge tried to hook someone in.
